Notes:
It is important that the bass is ergonomical and easy to get around. The ribs around the shoulders should not be too wide, maximum 20cm not including the edges. 21.5 with top and back. It would be advantageous to have the back break set quite low, at about the widest point of the upper bouts. the widest part of the upper bout. The bass will mostly be played seated, almost like a cello.

The fingerboard should not be too wide, about 40mm at the nut with string spacing of about 9.5mm. String spacing at the bridge should be 26mm centre to centre. The fingerboard should preferably be quite long and able to play the notes G, G# and even F.
